Fast Lane is pleased to offer the redesigned CCNP Curriculum announced on January 25, 2010. The new CCNP certification program now incorporates self-paced e-learning modules that augment a curriculum which focuses more on job tasks such as planning and troubleshooting.
Fast Lane is also offering new assessment tests that correspond with the new CCNP curriculum. The assessment tests are a great way to help you measure your technical proficiencies and select the appropriate course. You can locate these tests within the Learning Center on the Fast Lane Community Site.
The three new cohesive five-day courses include: Implementing Cisco Switched Networks (SWITCH), Implementing Cisco IP Routing (ROUTE), and Troubleshooting and Maintaining Cisco IP Networks (TSHOOT). Additionally, the new e-learning modules extend classroom materials with enhanced content that can be accessed by class participants at any time.
CCNP certification is a highly sought-after validation of an individual’s professional level technical skills and familiarity with Cisco routing and switching technologies. With a CCNP certification, a network professional has demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to manage the routers and switches that form the enterprise network core. CCNP certification adds value for the IT professional, especially in tough economic times, and can facilitate pay increases, job opportunities, and career advancement.
