In January 2010 Cisco introduced the revised CCNP certification. There are now three courses available. The ROUTE , SWITCH and TSHOOT courses have replaced the BSCI, BCMSN, ISCW and ONT courses.

You will be able to take the BSCI, BCMSN, ISCW and ONT exams until 31st July, 2010. The new CCNP exams will become available March, 2010.

CCNP Mix & Match Part 1

Passing scores on 642-901 BSCI, 642-812 BCMSN and 642-892 Composite will be accepted as long as they are valid.

CCNP = BCSI + BCMSN + TSHOOT 
CCNP = Composite + TSHOOT 
CCNP = BSCI + SWITCH + TSHOOT 
CCNP = ROUTE + BCMSN + TSHOOT 
CCNP = ROUTE + SWITCH + TSHOOT

CCNP Mix & Match Part 2

When you haven’t passed all required CCNP exams on 31st July, 2010 but have passed either one of or both the ISCW and ONT exams, your ISCW and ONT exams will expire. You will have to take the new 642-832 TSHOOT exam in order to achieve the CCNP certification.

The below options are valid until 31st July, 2010.

CCNP = BSCI + BCMSN + ISCW + ONT 
CCNP = Composite + ISCW + ONT 
CCNP = BSCI + SWITCH + ISCW + ONT 
CCNP = ROUTE + BCMSN + ISCW + ONT 
CCNP = ROUTE + SWITCH + ISCW + ONT

CCNP Mix & Match Part 3

ROUTE and SWITCH will replace existing exams in other certifications where BSCI, BCMSN and Composite scores also remain valid.

CCDP = BSCI + BCMSN + ARCH 
CCDP = Composite + ARCH 
CCDP = BSCI + SWITCH + ARCH 
CCDP = ROUTE + BCMSN + ARCH 
CCDP = ROUTE + SWITCH + ARCH 
CCIP = BSCI + QOS + MPLS + BGP 
CCIP = Composite + QOS + MPLS + BGP 
CCIP = ROUTE + QOS + MPLS + BGP
